its only possible if you gain the same amount of muscle as the fat that you lose. think about it if you weigh 12 stone and you lose 2lb of fat then obviously you will now weigh 11stone 12lb. the only way youd stay at 12 stone is if you lost 2lb of fat and gained 2lb of muscle
theres no getting round it, if you want to stay at 11 stone but reduce your body fat too then you must gain some muscle
to achieve there theres a few options. you spend some time losing fat and get your weight down to 10 stone 7lb and then spend some time gaining 7lb of muscle to get yourself back up to 11stone
or you could gain 7lb of muscle to take you to 11 stone 7lb, then after that lose 7lb of fat to take you back down to 11 stone
the finally option is to try and lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. this is very difficult though and if you did manage to achieve it i doubt that you would gain as much muscle as you lost fat . for example if you lost 2lb of fat per week there is no chance that you would be able to gain 2lb muscle per week aswell. realistically you'd only be able to gain a quarter of what you lost for example if you lost 2lb of fat you'd probably only gain half a pound of muscle . but this might not even happen, you might find it impossible to do both at the same time
ill post a link in a minute for the best advice on losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time
