kk - Yes, do one on, one off.

Saturday - Quads and Calves

Monday - Chest & Biceps

Wednesday - Back & Hamstrings

Friday - Shoulders & Triceps as this is not a big energy workout you can go straight back into Saturday and do your legs

This system is making it and 8 day week probably giving you more recuperation, the other way was a 7 day week, not big difference between them.

cheer kk. would it be detrimental to have a compelte one day pn one off plan as I as well as uni, I train and work 18 hours a week , or would this not be enough. Btw, I tried to ring the office earlier but there was no answer Will try again this week

tbh this split is really good and I am following what you posted a few weeks ago for the exercsies, sets and rep ranges. However, after 6-8 weeks i shall do another split for 6-8 weeks and then go back on this one for variety.

I shall be doing - quads and hams, chest and tri, back and bi, shoulders and calves.

How can i fit this in witht he training slots I have available:

Mon - afternoon/evening

Tue - 6.30 am (is this enough recoevry from monday afternoon?)

Wed - afternoon/evening

Thurs - afternoon/evening

Fri - 6.30 am

Sat - morning or evening/ although soemtimes have work

Sun - 7.00 am

kk - I think you are being too precise and don't back yourself up into a corner. Example, train Monday afternoon and do your quads and hamstrings, then Tuesday 6am if you feel good, do your chest and tri's, if not, do them Wednesday afternoon.

As long as you get your 4 day split in each week (you've mentioned 7 training opportunities) it will be ok.
