Hi Kerry, just seen the before and after shots of Scott Wright after his 12 weeks under your watchful eye. I cant believe the difference. What exactly did he do ie what training split, what was his diet and so on, would be good to know.

Well done to Scott thats a cracking transformation. Just goes to show if you apply the right nutriton, supplements, training, rest and give it 100% you can achieve your goals.

I also would like to know when this will be on tv

kk - Scott came to me 12 weeks, 2 days before the Northwest which was last Sunday 25th May 2008 (day after Rickys fight). He explained he was doing a TV documentary on a sport that he had a passion for (bodybuilding) but with his acting career etc. he had lifted weight but never really applied himself.

I get lots of requests to go on TV or to do articles in the media and I'm always very sceptical because we know how they can spin it, but I knew Scott was genuine so I agreed to help him but I was always going to pull out if he didn't have the heart to diet and train hard. I had no need to worry about this, he genuinely worked and dieted his bollocks off.

Anyone who has severely dieted will know you need less sleep so as I am a busy man, I agreed to train him first thing in the morning so every morning I got a text "morning mate, are you up", we were in Betta Bodies most mornings before 8am which gave me all day to myself. 60-70% of his nutrition was CNP, this gave him the quality nutrients that he needed for muscle repair and dare I say it, a slight amount of growth but in a low kcalories environment so he lost his body fat.

It was always a big ask to get someone from A-B (see the photos) but once at B he then had to go on stage at a bodybuilding show and then pose with 3 IFBB Pro's !!! As I announced him (I was the MC) I asked the crowd to understand that he had done this in 12 weeks and that he was a good guy who was going to paint a positive picture of our sport. By not only reporting on how hard a contest diet was but actually doing it himself, the crowd showed him loads of respect, I was dead proud as I felt they were showing me the same respect.

We will make sure everybody knows when the documentary is going to be screened, they are still filming it.

1 Serving Pro GF 30-45 mins before training (when you leave home).

1 Pro Slam As you arrive at the gym.

Clean Meal Chicken/fish/turkey
Potatoes/rice/pasta – lots of green veg.

Pro Slam Immediately before run.

Aerobic/CV workout approx 6/7pm

1 serving Pro Recover Immediately after run.

Pro MR Half an hour before bed.

1 Pro Vital Tablet
1 Pro Vital Capsule Sometime in the afternoon or
4 Pro Lipid Capsules 2-3 Pro CLA evening.

You can not drink enough water throughout the day. I suggest a minimum of 4 litres.

The reason there are a lot of supplements on this diet is because you can get a lot of
nutrients in a low Kcalorie environment.

If your nutrition was solid food alone then you could not afford the Kcalories to get
the nutrition required.

Always mix your Pro MR, Pro Peptide, Pro Recover and Pro GF with water.

If you want to snack you can have a Pro Flapjack or better still as much green veg you
want whenever you want.

As you are getting nutrients throughout the day in food or supplements this will speed up
your metabolism.

There seems to be a hell of alot there diet wise which I kind of expected. He also did CV 7 days a week how much CV did he do ?? I dont think Id have the time or money to do that. Im normally at work from 8am to 530pm. I wish I could do, maybe one day Ill be able to afford all them supplements !! A quick one Kerry, Ive been mixing my Pro Mass with skimmed milk should I really mix it with water ??

Hi pagie mate,

Just to add my opinion I believe all the CNP products are best mixed with water. As you then get the right ratios of nutrients from them as they were designed to be.

If you want to add additional kcals to your diet you could take in milk at a later time or get them from other foods.

However if you can tolerate milk with no digestive problems and really want to mix Pro-Mass in milk I don't see a big problem with that as long as you allow for it in the rest of your diet.

John.

Cheers for your input mate, when I originally posted my diet I did account for milk in my two protein shakes a day, Ive noticed though on the Pro Mass label that you get alot of carbs all of which sugar when mixed with milk. I want to try and keep my diet as clean as possible but if I take away the milk am I going to have to replace the carbs with something else ?? The again Pro Mass mixed with water you need to use 4 scoops whereas with mile you only need two. Which means Id need double the Pro Mass a month

kk - Scott was getting up about 5am and having his breakfast, by 7-7.30 his stomach was ready for the Pro GF.

just out of interest, what was the duration of Scott's cv and what did he do - running? fast walk,, cross trainer, rowing etc

OLD FORUM ARCHIVE
25-08-2009, 03:54 PM
kk - Some days Scott would do up to 2 hours (he had to, did you see how much body fat he needed to lose!) and some days depending upon energy levels and work load, he did 30 minutes, it was mainly fast walking as I think this is the best to lose body fat but more importantly to be able to do it for long hours every week.

Think about it, if you were doing2 hours a day and on easy days only half an hour, that could be as much as 8-9 hours a week, how many of us could run for that amount of time plus when you are heavy, which Scott was, there is a cascade of minor injuries waiting to happen. Walking will avoid all this.

Could you say the same for using a stationary bike as its obviously low impact.

I dont have a treadmill so do all my cardio at home on my bike.

Sometimes vary from doing 30 mins to 1 hour depending on how energetic I feel. Set the program to be high/low intensity and keep repeating this.

I walk outside for 45mins. I find it more refreshing to get out and go into the woods for a walk. Even when it rains

very true. well i just came back from the gym. did 40 mins incline walkin at 6km an hr 15% incline for 30 mins and 20% for 10 mins, broke a nice sweat burnt me calves like crazy and was very low impact and not very tiring at all. might do this occasionaly and then just jog for a couple of miles before breakfast a couple of days a week

kk - Any machine, if you use it properly (intense) will give you an aerobic workout, bike is just as good as a walking machine so there is nothing wrong with that.

If you don't like walking put yourself in a position where you have no choice, get a family member or friend to drive you a set distance with no phone or money, you've got to walk home! I used to do that years ago when I was dieting for the British.
