hello mr.kayes
my off season diet is 1.5gr protein/1.5gr carbs/20%fat.....
would i like to know if this amount of protein that you recommend(1.5gr/pound) is on or off drugs?
and what are the differences of a off season diet to a natural and an "artificial"(steroids,gh..) bodybuilder?
thanks

kk - Depending on the amount of muscle mass and how advanced you are as a bodybuilder, I always recommend 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight (3.3 per kilo) and a maximum of 2 grams per pound(4.4 per kilo). You have mentioned steroids, if you analyse what steroids do, they help you assimilate your food better, it is that simple. We are all born with a certain amount of brick layers, if you take steroids, you are adding brick layers to your bodies ability to build muscle. Common sense says you should deliver more bricks (protein). Under these circumstances, I would recommend having two grams of protein per pound of bodyweight.
