Hi Kerry,

Firstly thank you to everybody concerned at CNP for quick delivery of my box of pro bars (cherry almond-top flavour). With regards to them, would they be ok to have an hour after a pro recover shake? I always take my pro recover straight after boxing but it then takes me an hour to get home, which is usually about 10.30pm. I really cant be bothered making a meal by that time but i know you suggest having a good quality meal an hour after training, as a pro bar has a good mix of proteins and complex carbs what that be ok instead of a meal? I normally have some mackerel/sardines on toast when i get home if im in the mood to make an effort but the pro bars have been much easier of late!

Cheers for the advice you gave me on Ricky's site, i asked you a while back about my diet & boxing training as i was looking a bit on the skinny side. Ive cut down my boxing and mix it up now with a circuit training session once a week. And ive upped my energy intake, feeling alot better now.

Cheers

kk - Yes, that will be fine (I'm not trying to sell you products and it would work out the same price but you would be better with a Pro MR, this will give you 42 grams of fast and slow proteins, timed released over 7 hours giving your muscles all those amino acids that it requires to replenish itself after training) You can read more about Pro MR in the Micaller Casein thread and the Undenatured Protein thread.
