Hi Kerry,
Bit of a different question I know but was wondering if you ever planned to compete again? I'm sure your a very busy guy but would great to see.
Also could you post some pics on the website for us? I've only ever seen one at the bottom of an article about ricky hatton but was impressed to say the least. Think you also used this on an advert for CNP too once.
Oh and well done on a great product range, you 've been getting atleast a quarter of my wages for the last few years
Mike.

kk - No, father time has caught up, I am exactly the same body weight as when I last competed (1994) but the body composition is a lot different. i still train, I do at least 20 minutes aerobics every morning (anywhere between 6-8am) and still do a 4 day split on the weights but I have got some terrible mechanical injuries. I started lifting weights in a gym in Manchester called Sumfiz (it was the only gym apart from the ymca in Manchester) I was an apprentice electrician and I think I was about 17/18, there was very little equipment and even less knowledge so most of us (through bad technique) ended up with injuries that I have carried for 40 years. Because of my work load/injuries and aging body, I dont think I will ever stand on a stage again unless I'm fully dressed.
I have never been one to push my pictures on people but I will dig a few out and put them on this week.
Only a quarter of your wages (thanks mate)?

kk - I have not done any cardio or training this morning mate, I was out on the piss till 5.30 this morning with Phil Heath, he was at FIBO last weekend and is guest posing in Finland on Saturday so he stopped in Manchester, Monday Tuesday Wednesday (he's flown to Finland today).
I've have 5 discs removed from my back (3 seperate operations), although they were removed in the 70's and 80's, once you are in the bad back club, you are in it all your life. I've got to have a hip replacement and need knee surgery and I've had surgery on my right wrist and my left shoulder. Its fair to say, I would not pass an MOT!

Wow 5 discs removed, I know what you mean about bad backs. My bro did his back in over a year ago now and hasn't trained for ages. It started with barbell rows, most likey using to much weight and his form suffered because it. he also made it worse by playing football after for weeks and the pain went down his leg.
He has had an MRI scan and it is a disc, but he hasn't had any operations yet. He believes it's muscle imbalances due to him putting to much mass on his quads and not enough on the hams and glutes. It is also due to super tight hip-flexers and glutes weren't firing. He has been speaking to the top guys in the USA about it has the NHS isn't that good to be honest IMO.
This is a good site http://www.meilus.com/default.asp Al Meilus is a top bloke mate which is who my bro has spoke to about his condition.
Just thought it might be of interest to you Kerry mate.
John.

kk -I saw a great programme (Horizon) about bad backs, it was very interesting. The experts on the program explained that we all have different size canals (where the spinal cord runs) people with big canals never have bad backs because when the disc protrudes, as there is so much room in the canal it doesn't press on the cord, causing the pain, but people with narrow canals, the slightest prolapse and it causes problems, when they did one of my surgeries, they told me a had a very narrow canal and just like the program explained it can be genetic. My sister has got a bad back and I remember my mother had a bad back.
We all know people in the gym who can be very sloppy in their form yet never get bad backs (presumably they have got larger canals). Look at Andy Bolton (a CNP athlete), he squatted in competition 1214lbs! If I squatted 214lbs, I wouldn't walk for weeks.
There is a physio in Atherton called Stuart Cosgrove, he was a british champion bodybuilder and has squatted 800+ so he knows a lot about the human body from an athletes point of view as well as a physio. He's fantastic, a lot of people with bad backs have been to him and he has done them proud. If anybody is in need of Stuart's help he can be reached at Cosgroves Physio Fit Centres, The Station Approach, Atherton, Manchester, M46 9LJ. 01942 871 772.

Im currently undergoing my physio at Cosgroves although Im actually being looked after by a chap called Matt. Im must say they are very good and seem to know what they are doing. Ive had 4 sessions so far one a week for the last 4 weeks and already my necks feels so much looser and I might actually get back in the gym one day but Ive now discovered a problem in my shoulder.
