hi kerry , when eating tuna do you have to have tuna in spring water or can you use tuna in brine or tuna in sunflower oil

i recently heard that tuna in brine should be avoided . is there any truth in this and is any one of the 3 options better than the others or are they all equal ?

thanks

kk - Believe this or not, my partner in the USA who manufactures Pro Peptide, Pro MR, Pro MS, Pro Dessert (not Phil Connolly who formulates them) held a patent on a specific brine for a number of years, he theorised that if you could increase the protein content on the label, it would be better for the customer and sales team. They added a small amount of whey to water and this increased the protein content.

In reality, unless I was a month out of a contest diet, it doesn't really matter but if I had to be really really fussy then it would be water first, brine second and oil third but just read the label, the kcals are minimal.
