kk - All foods and supplements are measured in kcalories. A kcalorie is not a nutrient, it is a measurement of energy. If you eat less energy than your body needs you will lose weight, if you eat more energy than your body needs you will gain weight. Depending on the type of nutrients (protein, carbs, fats) you eat or dont eat will determine the type of weight you gain or lose (fat or muscle). You say you want to lose body fat which means you need to be dificient in energy foods (normally carbs and fats) which means your body will have to cannibalise its stored energy which is body fat. If you are efficient in protein your body has no reason to cannibalise its stored protein which is muscle.
You need to be eating 4 or 5 meals a day, if you cannot be bothered or understand nutrition I suggest you take Pro MR this is a measured meal that contains 42 grams of fast and slow undenatured protein but is low in kcalories only 270.
