can anyone explain to me why maltedextrin is used as the carb source in pro mr. i dont like the sound of maltedextrin and am seriously considering stopping my use of pro mr unless someone can explain otherwize

can you explain a little more about what you mean when you say you dont like the sound of it? is it the nutritional value, chemical breakdown, side effects?

well its got a higher gi than table sugar for starters

my understanding is that regardless of its GI rating, it actually breaks down relatively slowly inside the body.
